Carol Robinson is equally at ease in the classical and experimental realms. She performs regularly in major concert halls and international festivals and has premiered numerous compositions and worked closely with many composers, notably with Giacinto Scelsi.

Often initiating projects that she finds personally significant, Carol Robinson has produced and recorded a CD with music for high winds by Giacinto Scelsi, and a CD of late works with clarinet by Morton Feldman.

Carol Robinson was born in the United States and graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory. She currently resides in France.
